We helped Inchcape restructure and centralise their finance business function by creating a bespoke Learning Academy for skills development.
With a strategic plan to create a centralised finance function founded on a business partnering model, Inchcape recognised that successful transition to the structure would require a broad reaching approach to prepare people for their new role.
Seeking to drive commercial focus and a unified approach across their global business, it was vital that any solution was dynamic, accessible and had the flexibility for deployment across large numbers of people at pace.
Working collaboratively with the internal stakeholder team, we created the architecture for a 4 pillar Learning Academy to develop technical, personal, leadership and business partnering skills.
With a priority to design and deliver curriculum content to sit under the Business Partnering discipline, we started by identifying 15 discrete topic areas. Our design team created modules for virtual delivery to 180 globally dispersed people. Application and embedding is supported by facilitator led coaching pods. All content, toolkits and materials are available to self-access within the Academy portal.
