An end-to-end organisational and functional transformation was laying the foundations for esure’s future. With a lot in motion, the top team was committed to minimising the emotional impact on colleagues — supporting them through sweeping change in a positive way.
Recognising managers as the vital lever in making that happen, esure needed a programme to level the playing field on manager capability and confidence — specifically around leading through change and shifting mindsets towards a more tech-driven landscape.
Built around a framework of group collaboration, letting managers learn from each other’s real experiences and challenges. The approach was deliberately practice-focused and informal, not classroom-style.
Senior leaders were fully onboard, involved directly in crafting the story for change and cascading it broadly — leading from the top rather than delegating the message down.
Following a proof-of-concept pilot, the rollout reached 140 managers across a series of one-day learning events. Framed by sticky content and backed by a comprehensive toolkit, managers left able to take their learning straight into their daily roles.
