What is it about?

Great cultures are built on great conversations. The quality of your culture depends on the quality of the conversations within it. From informal chats in corridors to spirited team meeting debates, how people engage with each other (or avoid engagement) is a direct reflection of your company culture.

Change the conversations, change the culture. Culture is created and reflected in the conversations people have—and the ones they avoid. Each of us can influence culture through our conversations, acting as CCOs (Chief Conversation Officers).

When we meet someone, we meet their behaviour—their words, body language, and actions. Considering how much of our behaviour is driven by communication, it’s clear that our ability to converse effectively has a significant impact on both our relationships and results.

Communication is a critical leadership skill. To ensure we’re getting it right, we must ask:

  • What makes a good conversation?
  • How does it differ between face-to-face and virtual settings?
  • What benefits can strong communication bring to the team?
  • Where are my strengths and gaps as a communicator?

This fast-paced, interactive, and fun three-hour workshop explores the art of great conversations and answers these questions and more.
