Meet Miranda, our Managing Director, whose 30 years of operational experience in senior roles have shaped her into the leader she is today. Drawing on decades in business and her lived experience, she brings a unique perspective, particularly in the realm of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I). Known for her straight-talking, incisive approach, Miranda has perfected the art of getting to the heart of an issue, simplifying complexity, and defining pragmatic, clear-cut solutions.
As well as leading Elev-8, Miranda plays a hands-on role in sales and client relationships. She regularly meets with new clients, helping them explore challenges and opportunities and shaping the right Elev-8 partnership from the outset.
Author & Contributing Voice on Team Climate
Miranda is a Contributing Author of Dropping the C-Bomb: Why Team Climate Crushes Culture, Elev-8’s new book that flips the script on culture change. Her contribution focuses on the critical link between team climate and conversations—showing how the way we talk, listen, and challenge directly shapes the climates people experience.
True to her style, Miranda brings sharp insight, humour, and humanity to the page. She argues that when leaders master the right conversations (open, inclusive, and sometimes uncomfortable) they create climates where people feel safe, valued, and motivated to perform.

Miranda’s guiding principle is about getting comfortable with the uncomfortable. Whether steering Elev-8’s strategic direction, meeting new clients, or working directly on delivery, she balances commercial priorities with a deep understanding of human dynamics. Beyond professional life
Away from work, Miranda’s energy is just as evident. A kickboxing black belt and avid MMA fan, she’s never far from an octagon-shaped arena. As a mother of two daughters, her home life is as vibrant, busy, and engaging as her professional one. She’s never happier than by the sea or in the sun, with travel high on the agenda. In quieter moments, she indulges her creative passions (interior design, fashion, and the arts) all of which add to her multifaceted persona.
